Brief Description

Following in the footsteps of my first attempt in recreating the British panel show Taskmaster in Minecraft, the goal of the second series was to provide a significant step up in quality by adjusting the ruleset and placing a larger emphasis on concise video editing.

This ten-episode YouTube series is a competition between six people to earn as many points as possible by completing tasks such as "Completely hide the caravan" and "Learn Turkish". Only the player who scores the most points after ten episodes will be crowned the Minecraft Taskmaster champion and will earn a super cool digital trophy that looks like my head.

My role in Minecraft Taskmaster is as the lead producer. During the production of this show, this means that I was primarily responsible for managing the production team of Minecraft builders, camera crew, and video editors while I act as the all-powerful Taskmaster. This means I am planning build sessions with the builders, scheduling recordings with the camera crew and players, and editing the final cuts of each of the ten episodes.

Welcome to Tasky Town!

Tasky Town is the home of all of the tasks in Minecraft Taskmaster. Originally, this was only going to be the main Taskmaster house plus a few more houses on a street, but our goals kept expanding to become a full town.

Below are some photos of the town.

Miscellaneous Graphics

There's a lot that goes into a single Minecraft Taskmaster video. Below are a few graphics that completes these videos, including the show logo, an episode thumbnail, and the scoreboard with custom player models.
